Abstract

Summary

This paper tries to base on aeromagnetic data processing, evaluated the geomagnetic anomalies of Kerman province. For this purpose, aeromagnetic data was collected and processed using Geosoft software and after correction of map the total magnetic intensity of the study area was obtained. In order to access the exact location of abnormalities structural such as Reduction to pole (RTP), first vertical derivative and Directional derivatives were applied on intensity of the magnetic data. Then Magnetic lineaments were traced and recognized with the interpretation of magnetic linear zones, and compare lineaments with the last hundred earthquakes' epicenters, as well as field evidence and interpretation of Landsat satellite images, location of hidden faults and the earlier detected faults were identified in Kerman province.
