Abstract

Summary

In this study, a triple porosity model investigated due to predict shale gas complex behavior. In production gas process, only fracture contributing to horizontal well. Source of present gas in fracture and matrix block is suppled from kerogen. Partial differential equation (PDE) for matrix and fracture media is result of mass balance method. Laplace transform help to solve the PDE system and Stehfest method is used to change Laplace independent variable into time variable. With using this model, case sensitive analysis on different parameter is done.

This triple porosity model recognizes five main flow regimes that shown in type curves of transient pressure. Transfer and storage coefficients have high effect on type curve of pressure transient.
