Summary

The paper discusses the most important results of the generalization of studies of the Bazhenov complex of sediments in the unexplored areas of the Arctic sector of Western and Eastern Siberia for a comprehensive solution of the entire set of questions of the formation and development of hard to reach hydrocarbons deposits from bituminous shales.
