Abstract

Summary

The purpose of this abstract is the fracture networks delineation techniques presentation. 3D seismic attributes and structure interpretation results from Russian Far Eastern Sea offshore. 3D volume were used for this Quantitative Interpretation (QI) techniques. The database of fracture networks was built and its quantitative analysis was performed. Statistical analysis of spherical data and eigenvalues of the orientation tensor were applied. Results: refinement of fracture networks anisotropic models (fracture - induced anisotropy has two components: transverse-isotropic and orthorhombic); fracture networks database built and analyzed; average fracture networks orientations of oil-gas intervals were calculated; the importance of strike-slip tectonics for Far Eastern Sea offshore was confirmed.
