Abstract
As a new source of hydrocarbons is considered the Domanic horizon, which is source rock of the Volga-Ural oil and gas region. Domanic facies, reflecting the conditions of the greatest underbalance, are widespread almost everywhere throughout the territory of the Udmurt Republic. Based on the geological structure and geochemical analysis data, maps of the distribution of the main parameters characterizing the OM were constructed. It has been established that the deposits of the Domanic horizon of the Udmurt Republic have a high productive potential, they mainly contain parautochthonous bitumoid that is classified as high-carbon (TOC> 5%). Lithologically, rocks are represented by clayey limestones, dolomites, marls formed in the relatively deep depressions of the KKS. Migration and accumulation of OM were due to vertical and / or lateral migration of hydrocarbons.
