Abstract

Summary

In order to improve FEM forward modeling efficiency and precision of the 2D magnetotelluric problem, this paper focuses on calculating the response of a two dimensional MT model considering the conductivity and permeability variations simultaneously. These secondary fields method used to solve the secondary variations problems parallel to strike like Wannamaker. A model discrete method based on the bi-tree structure was developed and applied.
