Abstract
In the present research, we aim to improve linear gravity inversion including the minimum moment of inertia, which was done before. Using momentum inertia algorithm provided worthful visualization of gravity anomalies comparing with previous methods. Although when we face to complex anomalies with interfering, may lose the inversion by inaccurate prior information. Our approach is applying a linear inversion method which named Inclined-Cylinder algorithm to provide the prior information. Consequently, the prior information such as density contrast will be trustworthy. Experimental anomalies by using synthetic data of a grid of rectangular prisms provide a satisfactory result. Then, the method is imposed on a real data. The data acquired from the near Abade in Fars province of Iran which is supposed to have a good ability for Barite exploration. Region is located in longitude 31°02'05.9"N and latitude 52°38'45.1"E 31°02'05.9"N.
Final estimation of anomalous structures in subsurface validates the geological and digging explorations. Keyword: 3Dinversion, gravity, mining deposits exploration, momentum inertia, Lewi algorithm, inclined cylinder
