Abstract

Summary

The questions of approaches to the creation of a system for estimating and predicting the quality of surface waters using geoinformation systems (GIS) are considered. Based on the results of the analysis, a database of surface water quality monitoring was created, which allows to assess the overall picture of pollution. Consideration of this problem opens the possibility of practical solution of many tasks to protect the population and the environment from the effects of dangerous pollution of surface water.
