Geoinformation system “Indexed water fund of Chernihiv oblast’”

The problems of the water fund of Ukraine are considered. The emphasis is on water shortages and inappropriate use of water resources. The necessity of creating a system of accounting of water objects of Ukraine is proved. The system of the indexed water fund of the Chernihiv oblast’ was created, which could serve as the beginning of the implementation of surface water objects system accounting throughout the territory of Ukraine. The developed system offers its own option for submitting information about water objects, but may, if necessary, be changed and supplemented.
