Abstract

Summary

The main deposits from the point of view of reserves and development of the Chona field are the clastic deposits of the Nepa formation. Due to the high vertical and lateral anisotrophy of the layers the big work was done. Deep and complex analysis of new and old wells core, Well logs, 3D seismic, analogue deposits was made. The results allow us to take a new look at the geological structure and the exploration program of terrigenous strata. This concept was put in the basis of the drilling program and successfully confirmed by new wells.
