Abstract

Summary

Signal generation in vibroseis method is accompanied by the appearance of harmonics. They are formed by the multiple frequencies relative to the fundamental frequency. Harmonics are usually regarded as noise. Later understanding of their usefulness to broaden the signal bandwidth waves has come. The algorithm we suggest implies the complex vibroseis signal as a sum of harmonics enabling broadband spectrum processing. The performance of the algorithm is demonstrated on both the synthetic and real data.
