Abstract
P282 TERTIARY STRUCTURING AND HYDROCARBON POTENTIAL IN THE GULF OF HAMMAMET Abstract 1 HATEM BEN KILANI FETHIA MEJRI SALWA JEDDI & ALI JLAILIA Entreprise Tunisienne d’Activités Pétrolières ( ETAP ) The Gulf of Hammamet is characterized by a complex tectonic history during the Cretaceous time and mainly during the Tertiary time by more accentuated events. This complex tectonic history has developed throughout the area a variety of tertiary structural styles. Structures include compressional anticlines tilted fault blocks and rollover anticlines. The tertiary structure the more apparent is due to the effects of convergence and/or translation between the African and the
