Abstract
The purpose of this work was to assess the impact of early Kimmerian tectogenesis on oil and gas production processes based on the results of 1D and 2D basin modeling within the Kosy-Rogovskaya Depression.
As a result of 1D modeling for 12 deep wells, erosion was assessed in different parts of the study area, the main lithotypes from the lithologic base of the Petromod software were selected for setting lithologic mixtures.
Basin modeling 2D showed the main sources of hydrocarbon generation, the regime of pressure and the influence of disruptive disturbances on the migration path, and the formation / disintegration of deposits, primarily within the Chernyshev ridge, where oil exploration was previously recorded as a result of exploratory drilling.
The peak of HC generation from the main source rock correlates with the maximum immersion of them under the molasse deposits of the piedmont trough formed by the Paleoural orogen.
The results of the modeling of generation history, most of the deposits in the Devonian and Carboniferous sediments of the Chernyshev ridge were destroyed during the Early Cimmerian tectogenesis and subsequent erosion in this structural zone.
