Abstract

Summary

One of the most significant facilities for hydrocarbon reserves in Western Siberia is traditionally the Achimov oil and gas complex. Sand-siltstone collectors of the Achimov strata, forming sufficiently powerful lenses inside the enclosing clay strata, are characterized by high values of porosity (up to 22%) and permeability (up to 50mD). Currently, the forecasting of promising objects in the Achimov strata is successfully being solved with the help of tools of three-dimensional seismic prospecting.
