Abstract
Summary
Complex interpretation was carried out for northern part of Yenisei-Khatanga regional trough, basing on latest available and archive seismic and well data. As a result, several traps were identified, formed by tectonical and depositional folding, associated with shelf parts of neocomian clinoforms and, possibly, bearing gas and condensate. “Opposite”, south-east dipping Taimyr sub-clinoform was mapped in detail along northern border of Yenisei-Khatanga regional trough. Notwithstanding the absence of HC prospects, associated with this clinoform itself, its delineation results were used to justify the northern extent of zone, holding tectonic-depositional traps connected with typical, northern-west dipping clinoforms.
