Abstract

Summary

Porosity quantification in gas-bearing zones is an actual problem of log interpretation. This article is devoted to the gas-effect on porosity quantification by used log data and to their complex analysis consideration with the depth of investigation. Electrical tools can be used as additional information. Under favorable conditions the presented solution plot allows to estimate porosity, gas saturation and residual gas saturation in gas-bearing zones.
