Abstract

Summary

Successful exploration of oil and gas fields depends on representativeness and quality of initial geological and geophysical data. However, even in the case of a full complex of high quality information, there is still difficulties in description and properties prediction concerning complicated geological conditions. An example of this type of subsurface is Tanopchin formation containing gas pools. Tanopchin formation was deposited in continental environment, therefore, characterized by high lithological heterogeneity.
