Abstract

Summary

Combining Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Geothermal energy has technical, economic and social benefits. In Europe, there is potential for this synergy. Overlapping data from CO2 storage assessments and geothermal data of EU regions give us an overview of the zones where this combined technology can be developed.
