Abstract

Summary

In order, to unravel deformation history of the overturned strata a systematic procedure has been followed: Unfolding strata back to normal position and restoring them using a 2D geomechanics software. Faults formerly considered as strike-slips and thrust faults contemporaneous to Miocene Borneo orogeny here they would be interpreted as syn-sedimentary gravity-driven deformations which suggests an Oligocene-Miocene in age and contemporaneous to West Crocker Formation sedimentation.
