Abstract

Summary

Cross-gradient constraint is used in 3D anisotropic resisitivity inversion to improve structural similarity between horizontal and vertical resistivity models. The methodology has been tested at controlled field-site in a deepwater fold-thrust belt geological environment with encouraging result.
