Abstract

Summary

Interbed Multiples can lead to spurious interpretation of primary reflection. Removal of these types of multiples is not properly handled by conventional demultiple techniques. In this case study, we will demonstrate application of Interbed Multiple Attenuation using Inverse Scattering Series Method (ISS-IMA). The result of Interbed Multiples Attenuation from the example shows a significant uplift in imaging clarity at reservoir level.
