Abstract
Multiple attenuation is traditionally considered to be one of the biggest challenges for seismic data processing. There are many different methods of multiple modeling and subtraction, but most of them are used in marine seismic. on land the demultiple toolbox is usually restricted to a few velocity-based techniques. Such techniques have serious limitations especially on near offsets. The residual multiples, which have not been attenuated in processing, have negative impact on the results of seismic interpretation, both dynamic and structural. in this paper we present some tests of different modern demultiple algorithms on land data. All marine-specific methods have been adapted to land conditions. Testing was done on synthetic and real data from different regions (Eastern Siberia, North Africa). The obtained results confirmed the applicability of the tested algorithms for production processing projects.
