Abstract

Summary

Development of cenomanian gas fields of West-Siberian oil and gas province lead to the problem of explosive growth of underlying water and further water breakthrough. The object PK1 of Bereovoye field is analyzed in this work, its rocks include consertal sandstone, siltstone, partly slightly consolidated and seamless sandstones. Main reason of water breakthrough during development of the object is absence of shale barriers in the layer interval. in order to shorten the drilling risks, seismo-facies analysis is made. Seismic attributes are made and correlated with well data using neural net, which shows not only heterogeneity of the layer, but also fluvial channels which affects the water breakthrough the most. Prognosis of reservoir rocks distribution shows further perspectives for drilling plan with drilling risks reduction.
