Summary:
The full waveform inversion (FWI) method can provide an image of velocity in the earth with more precisions which help us to understand the deep geodynamics very well. In this study, we have used the FWI method based on the FK-SEM hybrid method to study the velocity model beneath a seismic profile to the teleseismic waveform data. This is the first time for the FK-SEM method to a case study. For its application, we have proposed the source time function and the available misfit function. The obtained velocity structure corresponding to the fault very well. At last, we discuss the result from the geological viewpoint, including the magmatism and the mineralization.
