Abstract

Summary

The paper proposed here is dedicated to the study of adsorption inhibitor. The molecule is selected to reduce the adsorption of surfactants used for chemical EOR flooding. By reducing adsorption performances of surfactants are kept high and process economy is increased.

The study reported here is conducted in the laboratory, and details measurements conducted both on bulk, on crushed rock samples and during flooding experiments. Tests are conducted at 60°C, using hard brine, model of a sea water. In a first part of the paper, we describe the evaluation of performances of in bulk. In a second part, are assed performances of adsorption inhibitor in terms of surfactant adsorption reduction for one part and incremental oil recovery.
