Abstract

Summary

In this study we provide a systematic workflow of seismic preprocessing and seismic attribute analysis for the purpose of accurate faults detection and reservoirs boundary delineation in both seismic sections and slices. The emphasis is upon the delineation of subtle fault and fracture zones by simultaneously using multiple attributes and sculpture technique. It is concluded that high resolution processing and seismic attribute analysis can enlighten our understanding of the reservoir and enhancing our capability of identifying subtle faults and fracture zones in the study area by using 3D seismic data.
