Abstract

Summary

Experimental studies of demonstration character were conducted using this mobile technology in the economic zone of Bulgaria in Black Sea. An anomalous zone of the “gas” type with an area of 36 km2 and a channel of fluid vertical migration with a pressure of 95.0 MPa were found on the area of the “Polshkov-1” well drilling within the Khan Asparuh block. At the drilling sites of the “Rubin-1” (2017) and “Melnik-1” (2018) wells, anomalous responses at the resonant frequencies of oil, gas and gas condensate were not detected; industrial (commercial) inflows of hydrocarbons in these wells cannot be received. Within the large block of Silistar, four anomalous zones of the “oil+gas” type have been discovered, which deserve priority attention during detailed prospecting works carrying out. The anomalous zones discovered by the direct-prospecting method can be regarded as projections of the hydrocarbon accumulations contours in a cross-section on the day surface. An increase in the drilling success rate can lead to a significant acceleration and optimization of the geological exploration process for oil and gas in general.
