Abstract

Summary

Geological support of drilling the horizontal section of wells, the three-dimensional geological model performs a large number of functions. One of the main ones is a reliable prediction of the reservoir structure along the projected wellbore. With an increase in the number of horizontal wells, the issue of quantitative evaluation becomes more relevant and it becomes possible to test the method of assessment for adequacy, compliance with the qualitative assessment and analysis of the results obtained. The main objective of the study is to determine quantitative evaluation criteria, which allow to reliably characterize the confirmation of the model and differentiate the drilling results in detail. Analysis of the research results was carried out in two main directions. To achieve the main goal, the construction of the total histograms of the calculated values was performed. An assessment was made to determine the well rating according to the degree of confirmation of the model. The second direction was to test the hypothesis about the presence of a correlation relationship between the characteristics of the project well: the length of the horizontal section, the power of the target interval, the average distance of the environmental wells, with the model correction value.
