Abstract

Summary

The features of gas inflow to the slanted gas well are considered. The gas filtration rates in the bottom-hole zone of the slanted well are calculated taking into account the existing inflow profile and the dependence on the zenith angle of the wellbore and its length along the formation. It is noted that by increasing the zenith angle and the borehole length, the law of gas filtration in the bottom hole zone of the slanted well changes from nonlinear to linear with constant pressure draw-down.
