Abstract

Summary

Starting from 2017, Belorusneft is actively working on the study of non-traditional collectors in order to assess the prospects for their industrial development. To date, considerable experience has been gained in studying unconventional reservoirs of I-III packs of the Rechitskoye field, obtained as part of a comprehensive research program, which allowed substantiating the drilling of an appraisal well and moving from cameral to field work. This article will present the main approaches to the study of unconventional reservoirs, based on the integration of core study methods, well logging and seismic data. Integration of methods for studying unconventional reservoirs allows you to remove a number of geological uncertainties, to determine the most favorable (potentially productive) areas for well placement.
