Abstract

Summary

We present a two-step inversion workflow for quantitative CO2 monitoring. In the first inversion step, we carry out CSEM inversion and seismic FWI with uncertainty assessment. The uncertainty is propagated in the second step (rock physics inversion) using a Bayesian formulation. We show sensitivity tests and case study at Sleipner to highlight the importance of uncertainty estimation in the full workflow.
