Summary:
The article considers that the Aldano-Majskaya oil and gas area is located in the East of the North-Aldan antekliza (south-east of the Siberian platform) , where it occupies the depression of the same name. The prospects of the lower part of the sedimentary cover composed mainly of the upper Proterozoic (Riphean, Vendian) and Cambrian rocks were clarified on the basis of seismic surveys and deep drilling data carried out in the last decade and they are of interest in the search for oil and gas. In addition to the main oil and gas horizons of the upper Proterozoic, the lower-middle cambrian horizons are allocated on the territory. The prospects the lower-middle cambrian horizons highly appreciated on the new geochemical data. Using the volumetric-genetic method, the quantitative assessment of oil and gas resource potential of promising reservoirs is refined. The territory is divided into separate sectors where the potential resource of oil and gas of promising reservoirs have estimated.
